This Bariatric Evacuation Sledge is a safe way to help evacuate the less mobile in emergency situations. 

Use the Bariatric Evacuation Sledge for larger patients who are less mobile or bed ridden. Designed for patients who reside above ground floor level and would struggle to escape during an emergency. These Evacuation Sledges will assist in evacuating patients via stairways if elevators were shut down. The Bariatric Evacuation sledge is very similar to our Standard Evacuation Sledge.

One of the benefits of this sledge is that the dual layer foam is widened to accommodate for the larger person. The dual core foam is made up of two separate specifications. The base layer being a heavy duty construction to aid patients in transit on uneven surfaces such as concrete or stairs or steps The layer surface foam is to comfort the patient during the evacuation process. The strong webbing runs the full length to aid in strength and mobility when moving a patient. Featuring safety belts and a foot pocket which holds a patient securely in place. The pulling loops at each end and a tough slippery coated bottom provide the caregiver with easy grip and swift movement. The loop at the head end is to hold back when descending stairways, which also reassures the patients being evacuated.

The whole item can be stored in its 100cm wide heavy duty pouch. This can then be hung on a patients wall for easy storage and access when needed. You will also find all instructions for the Sledge on the outside of the bag.

Saturday delivery can also be arranged for an extra cost.

When will my order be processed & dispatched?

Orders received on working days by 12 noon will usually be dispatched the same day.

How long will it take to arrive?

Orders placed on standard delivery will arrive within 2 working days. Larger items will be 2-3 days.

How do I check your stock levels?

Who delivers your products?

Small products like crutch ferrules will be sent via Royal Mail, larger items like wheelchairs & ramps will be sent via courier. Someone will have to be there to sign for the delivery.

If for whatever reason you are not satisfied with any other item you have purchased from us, you may return it if you notify us within 14 working days of receiving it. The product must be in its original packaging, unused and in a re-saleable condition and the cost of collection or return will remain at your charge.
We only accept returns for products that have been purchased through us. If your shipping address is outside the EU, we will retain the shipping fee.
If an item arrives damaged, or if your return is a result of an error on our part, we will refund or resend the item upon receipt of the damaged product within 30 days of the order.

Any return which does not meet the conditions set forth above will not be refunded or replaced.
