These Fibre Filled Elbow Protectors are a simple yet very effective for protecting the elbow area against pressure sores.

A Fibre Filled Elbow Protector is a quilted pad which is simply filled with fibre. This has proven to provide a soft and comfortable protector for those who are at risk of developing pressure sores. For example, those who are unable to get out of bed due to injury or illness, or, for those who suffer with delicate or damaged elbows and forearms.

The soft material helps the damaged skin from unwanted friction, by using these protectors you will experience less pressure on the affected area. Pressure sores are injuries to the skin and underlying tissue caused by excess or prolonged pressure. They are more likely to occur on the bonier parts of the body, such as heels, elbows, hips, coccyx etc. Individuals affected by pressure sores experience localised pain and discomfort.

Our elbow protectors can help to prevent the formulation of sores around this particular area and can even ease the pain of already developed sores, If sores are already beginning to form, you may need to find a more specialised product and to seek professional guidance. Early warning signs of developing sores include, but are not limited to; Skin discolouration - this may be subtle, with paler skin presenting with pink, red or darker patches and darker skin showing purple or blue patches. Excessively warm, spongey or hard sections of skin around the bony joint. Or localised itchiness around bony areas.

Sold as a pair, they also feature two soft foam fastenings straps which are adjustable to suit different sized arms. They fasten using a simply hook & loop fastening technique.

When will my order be processed & dispatched?

Orders received on working days by 12 noon will usually be dispatched the same day.

How long will it take to arrive?

Orders placed on standard delivery will arrive within 2 working days. Larger items will be 2-3 days.

How do I check your stock levels?

Who delivers your products?

Small products like crutch ferrules will be sent via Royal Mail, larger items like wheelchairs & ramps will be sent via courier. Someone will have to be there to sign for the delivery.

Returns

We understand that you may want, at times, to return an item you’ve purchased from us. We strive to make this process quick and convenient for you. For further information on returns or to request a refund/return, Contact us on our contact us page or please call us on 01262 375 050 or email us at enq@baylissmobility.co.uk.

If for whatever reason you are not satisfied with any other item you have purchased from us, you may return it if you notify us within 14 working days of receiving it. The product must be in its original packaging, unused and in a re-saleable condition and the cost of collection or return will remain at your charge.
We only accept returns for products that have been purchased through us. If your shipping address is outside the EU, we will retain the shipping fee.
If an item arrives damaged, or if your return is a result of an error on our part, we will refund or resend the item upon receipt of the damaged product within 30 days of the order.

Any return which does not meet the conditions set forth above will not be refunded or replaced.
