The Wireless Alerta Detect uses infrared technology to activate an alarm when body movement is detected within range.The Wireless Alerta Detect is ideal to use in Residential, Care or Nursing homes for patients who may be a risk to themselves or others if leaving their 'safe zone'. Also useful for patients who suffer with Dementia if they have a tendency to 'wonder' around the building at night, potentially putting themselves at risk or dangerThe Infrared Motion Alarm is most useful if mounted onto the users door or bedside, depending on each individuals circumstances. The alarm will activate when the user leaves their 'safe zone' and breaks the infrared beam. The alarm is then sent - wirelessly - to their caregiver so they are aware and can ascertain the users safety. An ideal device for providing the user with the freedom and safety of their own space whilst still proactively giving the caregiver advanced warning when the user leaves their safe environment.
