At Bayliss Mobility, we pride ourselves on offering the full package with regards to Mobility and Disability Aids & Accessories. That is why we have developed a wide range of hire equipment to help cater for any short term needs and requirements you may have.

Alongside our outright purchase options, we thought it was very important to offer hire products for people who only have a short term requirement that don't wish to go to the expense of buying something only needed for a short period of time.

We are located in the seaside town of Bridlington - on the East Coast. We have a lot of interest from tourists and those who come for day trips and holidays. Some may find it difficult and a lot of hassle to travel with their Mobility Aids, especially if they are travelling via coach or in family vehicles with lots of luggage. We can hire out Equipment to those travelling to the coast for weekends and even day trips. 

Our equipment is subject to availability, so please make sure you book well in advance, especially during the summer months. 

Fee's apply for delivery & collection - depending on location.

If you are staying at a local Hotel/B&B/Guest House. Please ensure you have spoken with the property owners with regards to storage and charging facilities before enquiring about availability with ourselves. Not all places have these facilities.

If you are travelling by car to pick up your Hire equipment, there is one hour free parking down the side of our building (Savage Road).

Wheelchair Hire We have a wide variety of wheelchairs that are all available to hire with one bound to suit your needs. We stock both transit and self-propelled chairs in multiple sizes. Wheelchairs are supplied with footplates and will be fully sanitised and safety checked before being released. We also have the leg rests which are available for an additional charge.  Wheelchairs can be hired by the day at a rate of £7 per day or by the week for £35 per week.

Mobility Scooter Hire We have boot scooters and pavement/road scooters available for hire. All scooters hired out are fully cleaned, sanitized and charged before hand and checked over by our in house ‘Scooter Tech’ – Gary. Scooters can be hired by the day at a rate of £15 per day or by the week for £70 per week.

Commode Hire Have you recently had surgery and require the use of a commode for a short period of time?  Well, we have you covered. We can supply a discreet, user-friendly commode for short term hire. Choose from the height adjustable standard commode, the folding commode - ideal if you're staying on holiday in a caravan. Or the larger wheeled commode. Each product is fully sanitised and safety inspected between each hire agreement. Commodes can be hired by the day at a rate of £7 per day or by the week for £35 per week.

Rollator Hire Rollators can be hired to assist a user’s mobility. If you require such assistance for a short period of time, we can be your solution. Rollators are easily foldable making transportation a doddle. Each product is fully sanitised and safety inspected between each hire agreement. Rollators can be hired by the day at a rate of £7 per day or by the week for £35 per week.

Walking Frame Hire Similar to rollators, walking frames provide stability and support to people who suffer from poor coordination or mobility impairments. We have walking frames with or without wheels available, to best suit the individuals needs and requirements. Each product is fully sanitised and safety inspected between each hire agreement. Walking Frames can be hired by the day at a rate of £7 per day or by the week for £35 per week.

Powerchair Hire As from Spring 2024, we currently only have a non-folding powerchair available for hire. We are planning on getting a folding powerchair which allows to be put into the back of a vehicle for easy transportation. Please contact us for availability. Powerchairs can be hired by the day at a rate of £15 per day or by the week for £70 per week.

Manual Hoist  Hire  We now have a manual hoist available for hire. Please contact us for more information. Please note - slings are NOT supplied as part of the hire. Please contact us to see if our hoist is compatible with your style of slings. Our Manual Hoist can be hired by the day at a rate of £10 per day or by the week for £60 per week.
